The 2027 ballot closed on Friday 1 May, but you can still apply for a charity place. If you entered, you will receive an email outcome by early July. 

Your Participant Guide, which includes everything you need to know about getting to the Start Line, will be available several weeks before the event. 

Your Event Pack, containing your bib number and kitbag, will be available to collect from the TCS London Marathon Running Show at the Excel.

You have eight hours to finish the marathon. If you’re unable to maintain this pace, but wish to continue, you’ll need to move onto the pavement for safety reasons. Our team will support you to the Finish Line. 

Please note that the St James’s Park Finish Line will close at 23:59:59 on Sunday 26 April. If you fall behind the eight‑hour pace, our team may carry out occasional manual bib scans. This simply helps us to keep track of your progress and location once some of the timing equipment begins to be packed away. Thanks for your understanding, and we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way!
