How to apply
The Assisted Wheelchair ballot is open!
Fill out the form to apply and email proof of disability to our Accessibility Team. Applications submitted without supporting documentation cannot be considered.
Applications close on 24 August 2026, with ballot results announced in September 2026.
Important Info
- Assisted Wheelchair places are for participants who are unable to self-propel around the course and include up to four Support Runners.
- Participants must be 18 or older on Marathon Day (24 and 25 April 2027).
- Each participant may nominate up to four Support Runners, all of whom must be aged 18 or over. A maximum of two Support Runners may assist at any one time.
- Charity places cannot be used as Assisted Wheelchair places. All Assisted Wheelchair participants must apply through the Assisted Wheelchair ballot.
