2027 TCS London Marathon Double Charity FAQs

Charity entries

Which organisations are eligible to apply for new entries in the 2027 TCS London Marathon Double?

Charities registered in the UK (England & Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland), in the Crown dependencies and organisations registered as a CIC are all eligible to apply for the Saturday Charity Participant Package (US charities are eligible to apply for US-only charity entries)

What does the Saturday Charity Participant Package include?

The package will include one Saturday charity entry, with one entrance ticket to Meet our Experts (an in-person event for first-time TCS London Marathon runners), plus the chance to secure a pair of Grandstand passes (the passes will be allocated by ballot). This package will be charged at £400 + VAT and is only available to UK registered organisations.

How can I apply for the Saturday Charity Participant Packages as a UK charity?

UK charities can request Saturday Charity Participant Packages through the following form. Applications will be accepted now, until 16:00 BST on Thursday 25 June 2026. These applications will be balloted and all charities will be notified of the outcome of their ballot application by early July.

How can I apply for the Saturday Charity Participant packages as a US charity?

US charities can request Saturday Charity Participant packages through the following form. Applications will be accepted now, until 16:00 BST on Thursday 25 June 2026. These applications will be balloted and all charities will be notified of the outcome of their ballot application by early July.

How many Saturday Charity Participant Packages can my organisation apply for?

Charities who currently hold less than 200 charity entries in the 2027 TCS London Marathon, including charities who don’t currently hold any charity entries in the Sunday of this event, are eligible to apply for up to 200 Saturday Charity Participant Packages (minimum of one).

Can charities choose to split their current allocation of 2027 charity entries across the Saturday as well?

No, this is not possible. The entries currently contracted for 2027 are for the Sunday only and different Terms apply.  If a charity wishes to offer Saturday entries to supporters, the charity will need to apply and be successful in securing entries separately, following the process mentioned above.

Can the Saturday entries be rolled over to 2028 if a runner drops out?

No, given this is a one-off change to the event format, Saturday charity entries will expire after the 2027 event. They are valid for one year only and cannot be rolled over to the following year.

Will the rollovers from 2026 be automatically rolled into Sunday, or could they be reallocated to the Saturday?

No, they cannot be allocated to the Saturday.

When will we find out if our application has been successfully drawn in the ballot for Saturday charity entries?

We will notify charities if they have been successful or not, by early July.

If successful, when will charities receive an invoice for these entries?

If you are successful, you will be prompted to agree to Terms and Conditions and asked for a purchase order number if required. Invoices will be sent at the end of July 2026.

Can we pay in instalments to spread the cost of these entries?

Yes, UK charities can opt to pay for their packages in full or split the cost over four equal monthly payments. This option is not available to US charities.

Can we reduce or add to our allocation if we’re successful?

No. If you are successful in the ballot, you will receive the full allocation you have requested. These cannot be reduced or added to. You will be prompted to accept the Terms and Conditions of the entries, including payment terms, and once accepted, cancellation is not possible and your organisation will be invoiced.

We’re a charity based outside of the UK – can we apply for charity entries?

A small number of charity entries are available to US charities. US charities can apply for up to 30 Saturday Charity Entries (minimum of one). These US charity entries are not packaged with any additional benefits and if successful in your application, will be charged at £631 VAT exempt (inclusive of a carbon levy charge) per entry. Applications are open now and will close at 16:00 GMT on Thursday 25 June 2026. These applications will be balloted, and all charities will be notified of the outcome of their ballot application by early July.

We’re sorry, charities outside of the UK or US cannot apply for 2027 TCS London Marathon charity entries.

What Terms and Conditions will apply to these packages/entries?

LME’s standard Charity Terms and Conditions shall apply to both UK and US entries purchased for the Saturday of the Event, except for any reference to the right to rollover entries. This is a one-off change to our event format, and entries purchased will not be eligible to roll over to 2028 if unused. If unused these are also not eligible for a refund. Charities will also be required to open an account with Enthuse, the Official Online Fundraising Partner of the TCS London Marathon, and promote Enthuse to all charity entry participants as the primary fundraising platform.

Participant management and fundraising

How do I allocate these entries to my runners?

We’ll provide access to create an account for your charity on our event registration platform Let’s Do This (LDT) and add your Saturday entries to a dashboard for you to easily access and allocate entries. We’ll provide more detailed guidance once you’ve secured the entries.

How can I support my runners to fundraise?

When participants register for the TCS London Marathon via Let’s Do This, their fundraising pages are automatically created on Enthuse, our Official Online Fundraising Partner. There’s no need for participants to create another account, everything is already set up for them, so they can start fundraising straight away.

Enthuse is the official online fundraising partner for London Marathon Events until 2034. Their technology is integrated with our registration process which means every runner has a fundraising page, and the pages are fully-branded with the logo and colours of the charity the participant has chosen to support. Enthuse is the only fundraising platform integrated in the TCS London Marathon event day app with Fundraising pages on Enthuse able to receive donations directly via the app, making it easier for supporters to donate on event day. This is all available with zero set-up or subscription fees.

How will the 2027 event profile be configured on Enthuse?

There will be one event profile for the 2027 TCS London Marathon Double, incorporating activity from both days. Charities will also have one profile for the 2027 TCS London Marathon profile which they can customise and promote to supporters.

Will we be able to identify which day a fundraiser is linked to on Enthuse?

Yes, from your Enthuse back office you will be able to identify which day a fundraiser is connected to. An extra column will appear in your usual reports to indicate the “Event activity” (Saturday and Sunday) a fundraiser is connected to.

Can I use Enthuse to manage my charity entries?

With the ‘Enthuse Event Registration’ tech, charities can set up a custom registration form and implement a tailored communications strategy, linking directly to the charity profile. Find out more about Enthuse Event Registration here.

What do charities need to do to receive funds raised if they haven’t used Enthuse before?

Charities that haven’t previously partnered with Enthuse will need to complete the onboarding process to receive funds raised for their cause. The onboarding process is simple, and there’s support on hand. Please refer to the Enthuse onboarding guide for more information.

What is Meet Our Experts?

Charity place participants attend for free, and ballot runners can attend too for a small entry fee.

Will the new official charity cheer zone be available on the Saturday as well as the Sunday?
