Drop in, take part, or spend time in a welcoming space.
The Communities Hub at the 2026 TCS London Marathon Running Show is a space to pause, connect and feel supported in the days leading up to Marathon Day. We will be at stand Q5, which you can find on our interactive map.
Over four days, we have runner‑led groups and community organisations hosting creative sessions, conversations and workshops. View the full schedule below.
Wednesday 22 April
14:00 – 16:00 | Urban Runner - Sport Psychology for TCSLM.
A workshop with Dr Marie Winter (Senior Lecturer in Sport Psychology) learning practical mental skills to improve performance, confidence and enjoyment. Q&A session to follow!
18:00 – 20:00 | Muslim Sports Network – Running Together
Community-led conversation with runners on belonging, identity and inclusion in sport. Facilitated by prompt cards with a focus on connection.
Thursday 23 April
10:00 – 14:00 | Harki Live Painting
Illustrator, runner and lead of Women Make Moves London, Harkiran Kalsi, will be the artist-in-residence at the Communities Hub. She has curated the space with her colourful, joyful designs and will be doing some live painting too! Drop by to see the TCS London Marathon through her eyes.
10:00 – 13:00 | Westside Runners – Name it, Transform it
Reflecting on what people are carrying into Marathon Day. Carnival badge-making will turn these reflections into badges - symbols of strength for Marathon Day.
1400 – 1700 | Sikhs in the City - Run to Remember, Reflect or Overcome
Navigating grief, beating race-anxiety nerves, and banner-making.
17:30 – 20:00 | Women In Tri - Affirmations and interactive puzzles
Sharing messages of support and conversation over a jigsaw puzzle.
Friday 24 April
10:00 – 14:30 | Runners High - Drop-in Hype Hub
Focused on slower and first-time marathon runners. Normalising fears, sharing real stats, reframing marathon running and offering encouragement alongside optional bracelet making.

15:00 – 18:00 | Women Make Moves Ldn - Post-stride Stitches
Cross-stitch your own tote bag, connect with other runners and do some mindful activity ahead of Event Day.
Saturday 25 April
08:00 – 12:00 | Black Girls Do Run - Leave it Here
Self-led space for runners to write anything on their mind and leave in a worry box, alongside affirmation cards for participants to take with them.
13:00 – 15:00 | Black Trail Runners - Drop-in session
Focused on runner anxieties, preparation and recovery. A chance for runners to ask questions and share concerns.
