Easy runs are the foundation of your marathon training and their importance shouldn’t be underestimated.

It’s hugely important to listen to your body and not shut out how you’re feeling physically or push through any pain. That might be useful behaviour at mile 20 in a marathon but after a miscarriage you need to take care of yourself.

You shouldn’t underestimate what your body has been through, even if you had a normal birth, let alone a C-section or more complicated birth experience.
