Join the superhero wave at Brighton Miles!
Be part of the Brighton Marathon Weekend and take on this free, fun event suitable for the whole family.
The Brighton Miles offer participants of all ages and abilities the chance to be part of the action by running, jogging or walking a one-mile course in Preston Park.
You can sign up for the Superhero Wave at 12:50 and take part in full costume as your favourite superhero!

Come along and get stuck in! There’ll be loads of fun, free activities for all ages.
- Brighton Table Tennis Club – Have a go on their tables and even challenge one of their coaches to a match.
- Nam Yang Martial Arts Club – Try out martial arts with guidance from their experienced coaches.
- VYD Football – Enjoy football for everyone, with matches, challenges and fun sessions led by VYD coaches and players.
- Bevendean Gymnastics Club – Take on their inflatable run! Roll, cartwheel or tumble along it with support from qualified coaches and young leaders - or simply watch the action.
- The Daily Mile – Visit the team behind the brand‑new Daily Mile Wave for 2026. Pick up the festival activity trail and learn more about getting moving at school.
- Junior parkrun – Meet the junior parkrun team, join in their energetic warm‑ups, and find out how to take part in your local Sunday events.
