Looking for a creative way to get involved with the Big Half this summer?
We're teaming up with London-based embroidery artist Nicole Chui to host Craft Your Course, a free workshop where you can personalise your very own Big Half accessory.
The workshop takes place at midday on Sunday 9 August at London National Park City.
Over the course of two hours, Nicole will show you how to transform a simple denim tag into a personalised bag charm.
The workshop is a relaxed, hands-on embroidery session. Don’t worry, no embroidery experience is required – just bring your creativity. You will learn stitching techniques and how to use colourful threads.
You don’t have to be running the Big Half to take part either; this workshop is open to spectators and residents on the course looking to try something new.
Participants will also receive a free upcycled Big Half trainer bag or running belt as part of the event.
These limited-edition accessories have been made from Big Half banner roll that would otherwise have been recycled following our recent event rebrand. By giving these materials a second life, we're helping to reduce waste while creating something practical and meaningful for our community.
