Jr. NBA 3v3 London gives schools across Greater London the opportunity to take part in an exciting, free-to-enter basketball competition delivered in partnership by the NBA and London Marathon Events.
Who Can Enter?
London primary schools can enter:
- One mixed team
- Year 5 and Year 6 pupils
- Teams must meet the Jr. NBA 3v3 participation requirements
London secondary schools can enter:
- One boys' team
- One girls' team
- Year 9 and Year 10 pupils
Wheelchair basketball teams enter via Titans Wheelchair Club. Please email them for more information.
Competition Pathway
Step 1: School Entries
Enter from 14 September to 30 October 2026
Schools register their team(s) via the official Jr. NBA registration platform.
Step 2: Borough Competitions
From October 2026 to March 2027
Schools compete locally to become their borough representatives.
These events are organised and delivered by local School Games Organisers (SGOs).
Step 3: Area Competitions
May 2027
Winning borough teams progress to Area Finals where they will compete to represent one of London's five regions:
- North London
- South London
- East London
- West London
- Central London
Step 4: London Finals
June 2027
The best teams from across Greater London will compete for the title of:
Jr. NBA 3v3 London Champions
Primary School Finals: SportsDock, University of East London in June
Secondary School Finals: Trafalgar Square, London in July
