Young people shooting hoops for the Jr. NBA 3v3 launch

Teaching Resources

Whether you're new to basketball or already delivering the sport in your school, our free resources make it easy to introduce and run 3v3 basketball with confidence.

All you need is: Six players, half a court and one basketball.

3v3 is a fast-paced, easy-to-learn version of basketball played with three players on court using just half a court and one hoop.

The format is designed to maximise participation, meaning pupils spend more time involved in the action, get more touches of the ball and develop skills more quickly.

It's inclusive, exciting and adaptable for a wide range of ages and abilities, making it the perfect format for schools.
