LME Portals Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of LME Portals, which are online portals provided by London Marathon Events Limited (“LME”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
For the purposes of these Terms, “group companies” includes any subsidiary, holding company or affiliate of London Marathon Events Limited from time to time, including (without limitation) Running High Events Limited and Caledonian Concepts (Scotland) Ltd.
By accessing or using an LME Portal, you confirm that you are authorised to do so on behalf of yourself or an organisation (as applicable) and that you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About LME Portals
1.1 LME Portals are secure online services provided by LME to enable customers, partners and organisations to access information, manage account‑related activities and use digital services made available by LME from time to time.
1.2 LME Portals may include (but are not limited to) portals used by charities, event partners or other customers.
1.3 Features and functionality available within an LME Portal may vary depending on the user type, organisation and permissions provided.
1.4 Access to an LME Portal does not create any contractual entitlement, offer or commitment beyond what is already agreed separately between the user (or organisation) and LME.
1.5 LME Portals are generally intended for business or organisational users and not for use by consumers acting in a personal capacity, unless expressly stated otherwise.
2. Eligibility and Access
2.1 Access to an LME Portal is limited to individuals and organisations approved by LME.
2.2 Where access is provided on behalf of an organisation:
- users must be properly authorised by that organisation; and
- the organisation is responsible for managing, reviewing and removing user access where appropriate.
2.3 Each user must:
- use their own login credentials; and
- keep those credentials confidential and secure.
2.4 Where access is provided on behalf of an organisation, that organisation is responsible for the actions of its authorised users and for ensuring compliance with these Terms.
2.5 We reserve the right to suspend or remove access if we reasonably believe:
- these Terms have been breached;
- access is no longer required; or
- access poses a security, legal or operational risk.
3. Use of LME Portals
3.1 LME Portals may only be used for legitimate purposes connected with LME services, events or activities.
3.2 You must not:
- misuse or interfere with an LME Portal;
- attempt to access areas, systems or data you are not authorised to access;
- upload or share unlawful, misleading or infringing material; or
- use an LME Portal in a way that could damage LME, other users or participants.
- You must not share your login credentials with anyone else.
3.3 Use of an LME Portal does not grant any right to extract, reuse, publish, resell or otherwise exploit Portal content or data outside of its intended purpose unless expressly authorised by LME in writing.
3.4 We may update, change, suspend or withdraw any LME Portal (or any part of it) at any time.
4. Information and Content
4.1 Information made available within an LME Portal is provided for operational and convenience purposes only.
4.2 While we aim to ensure information provided through an LME Portal is accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee that it will always be complete, current or correct.
4.3 Nothing displayed within an LME Portal constitutes an offer, acceptance or binding commitment by LME unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement.
5. Data Protection and Privacy
5.1 Use of LME Portals is subject to LME’s Privacy Policy, which explains how personal data is collected, used and stored.

5.2 Access to personal data within an LME Portal is restricted to what is necessary for the purpose of that Portal and subject to applicable permissions.
5.3 Users and organisations must ensure that any personal data accessed through an LME Portal is processed and maintained lawfully and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 All intellectual property rights in LME Portals and their content (excluding user‑provided content, where applicable) are owned by or licensed to LME.
6.2 You may not copy, modify, reproduce or use any part of an LME Portal or its content for purposes outside the intended use of the Portal without LME’s prior written consent.
7. Availability and Warranties
7.1 LME Portals are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
7.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, LME gives no warranties, representations or guarantees that:
- an LME Portal will be available at all times; or
- any information made available through an LME Portal will be accurate, complete, up to date or fit for any particular purpose.
7.3 We may carry out maintenance, updates or changes which may temporarily affect availability.
8. Suspension and Termination
8.1 We may suspend or terminate access to an LME Portal immediately where necessary to:
- protect security or system integrity;
- comply with legal or regulatory obligations; or
- address misuse or breach of these Terms.
8.2 Suspension or termination of Portal access does not affect any separate agreement between LME and the user or organisation.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 To the extent permitted by law, LME is not liable for:
- reliance placed on information made available through an LME Portal;
- unavailability of an LME Portal; or
- any indirect or consequential loss or damage.
9.2 Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Changes to These Terms
10.1 We may update these Terms from time to time.
10.2 Continued use of an LME Portal following publication of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

11. Governing Law
11.1 These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
