Crew Finder Community Guidelines 

As part of our commitment to supporting the network of run crews on this platform, we want to help create safe, welcoming and inclusive spaces for everyone. 

• Have a named lead contact responsible for managing the group's Crew Finder profile.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on Crew Finder.
• Respond to enquiries and expressions of interest in a timely manner.
• Notify Crew Finder if the group ceases operating or no longer wishes to recruit promote membership.

• Be committed to creating welcoming and inclusive opportunities for members.
• Make reasonable efforts to remove barriers to participation where possible.
• Treat all volunteers and members with dignity and respect.

• Have appropriate safeguarding policies and arrangements in place where activities involve children, young people or vulnerable adults.
• Ensure your members know who to contact if they have a welfare or safeguarding concern.
• Take appropriate action to address safeguarding concerns and incidents.
• Comply with any relevant legal or regulatory requirements relating to safeguarding.

• Provide a safe environment for volunteers and participants.
• Have appropriate risk assessments and safety procedures in place where required.
• Brief volunteers/Run Leaders on relevant health, safety and emergency procedures.
• Report serious incidents or concerns to the appropriate authorities where necessary.

• Maintain a culture free from bullying, harassment, abuse and intimidation. 
• Take appropriate action where inappropriate behaviour occurs.
• Ensure volunteers and leaders represent the group positively both online and offline.

• Ensure where required, volunteers/leaders have relevant qualifications (e.g. if working with vulnerable people).

• Handle personal data responsibly and lawfully.
• Only use member information for legitimate recruitment and engagement purposes.
• Not share member details with third parties without appropriate permission.
• Comply with applicable data protection legislation.

• Obtain appropriate consent from participants before recording or sharing their image or likeness on social media or other promotional content.

• Not use Crew Finder as a means of promoting affiliated brands/partnerships.
• Be transparent about any costs, commitments or benefits associated with opportunities.
