Set in one of the UK's most spectacular coastal landscapes, the 2026 Flora Maverick Jurassic Coast Hike is the perfect reason to round up a group of friends and enjoy a weekend packed with unforgettable scenery.
Choose between two spectacular distances on Sunday 18 October: a 24.3K Half Marathon that gives you the highlights of the Jurassic Coast, including the iconic Old Harry Rocks, or a more demanding 43.5K Full Marathon route that explores some of Dorset's most dramatic coastal scenery.
Participants can either secure a discounted charity fundraising place in support of one of the event's charity partners or opt for a standard paid entry.

As Brittany from the Maverick team explains: "The venue is a campsite... with forest lodges dotted around, and they have hot tubs as well. And there’s a sauna and cold plunge on site, perfect for tired legs after a day on the trails."
Castles, cottages and freshly caught crab
The historic village of Corfe Castle is just a ten-minute drive from the campsite. Dominated by the dramatic ruins of the castle itself, the village is packed with charming stone cottages, traditional pubs and independent shops and cafés. It's easy to spend a leisurely afternoon exploring the narrow streets before settling down for a hearty meal ahead of Hike Day.
If you're arriving early, take a trip to Swanage, one of Dorset's most-loved seaside towns. Stroll along the beach, enjoy fresh seafood or hop aboard the famous Swanage Railway for a nostalgic steam train journey through the Purbeck countryside.
